Hola Chicas/Chicos..I pray all is well with everyone..
If you've been following my blog or my Facebook fan page, you know how I'm a huge fan of incorporating Ayurvedic treatments into my natural hair regimen. I have rant and raved over the benefits of using Ayurvedic herbs. Well now, I put together a pictorial video showing how you can use your Ayurvedic herb powders to make a wonderful healthy moisturizing spritz.
Benefits of Using Ayurvedic Herbs:
- Strengthens Hair, therefore reducing hair loss
- Excellent for adding and restoring moisture
- Thickens Hair
- Conditions The Hair
- Aids in eliminating issues with dandruff
So, Spritz Away
Great Video!. Did you test the pH of the mixture? I asked this because I used to use the same herbs you used in this video and when I tested the pH it was like 3.5. Way too acidic. I used cheesecloth and let mine steep overnight, maybe that's why. Can you test the pH and let me know(before you add aloe vera gel)?. Thanks
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Coilybella...what a great question..so, I took your advice and measured the pH and it cam in at 4.5 before the aloe vera, so with the addition of the aloe vera and lemongrass it came in at a pH of 5.0..hope this helps
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch for your response!

ReplyDeleteHello Dominique, I'm a great fan of yours from Nigeria. I wanted to know whether the ayurvedic mix doesn't get stale or how long do you keep you infusions for before discarding?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
